I ordered my 8900 today. I wish it had 3G but if it as good as my 8320 has been I will be satisfied.

Those of you that are so baffled as to why EVERY T-mobile market is not 3G yet need to understand what goes into a 3G network conversion. It is a long drawn out process that takes time and a lot of money. Be patient, it will come i promise. Soon we will all have 3G and cool phones to use with 3G! Our guys at T-mobile are working literally around the clock hardware and software and fine tuning and testing so we can have the best and fastest 3G experience. Give them a break and relax. There are still 1 year contracts, you can definately do a 1 year contract in a retail store. I thought customer care was the same but maybe they’re not… or the rep you were talking to didn’t know what they were talking about…

I’ve used a Storm- it weighs a ton, feels like a brick. Both people I know with it have had nothing but problems- one turned into a brick, the other had to go back to VZ for them to reset.

The iPhone is better but I don’t like touchscreens.

The 8900 looks great. As far TMO service- it is still cheaper than VZ, and in 14 years (Omnipoint to Voicestream to TMO) I’ve never had a complaint.

I was really hoping that T-Mo would offer a 3g curve… Might as well stay with the last generation curve until my contract runs out.. I live in Jax and do not understand why T-Mo has not brought 3g here. AT&T has had 3g here since December 2007…

The storm is not as good as you think it is, I left tmobile so that I can get the storm. The phone sucked freezes all the time, verizon’s plans are way too expensive and their service is horrible I didn’t see any men standing behind me. The storm may have 3g but it’s slow as shit!! T-Mobile’s edge is WAY FASTER THAN VERIZON G NETWORK!!! I’m back with T-Mobile and glad they are coming out with the curve II!!
