We apologize for the lateness of this posting, there was a number of host issues last night and various technical difficulties that could continue at sporatic points during the day. Please bear with us as we work through this problem.
So up to now, we have pretty much given you every single bit of known information regarding the upcoming release of the Blackberry 8900. However, the one thing that has continuously been the subject of much speculation was the pricing. With the corporate release date of the phone drawing near, it was only a matter of time before we could get our hands on some prices. Well without further ado, the pricing rundown is as follows:
- 2-Year contract: $199 ($300 instant rebate)
- 1-Year contract: $249 ($250 instant rebate)
Update: Rumor has it that these prices are for business customers pre-release. History has taught us however, that we can expect that pricing will likely be the same for the public. The sole exception being the 1-year contract and whether or not it is going to be an available option for the consumer side. I have heard many of you convey that an acceptable price would be $199, so this should come as good news to a lot of you guy! Now all we have left to do is await the official release!

Update number 2: It looks like the Blackberry Curve 8900 has now shown up over on the T-Mobile web site!

It’s pretty straightforward, but I feel I should let you know what’s going on now and what’s planned overall. More after the break…
