We want your G1 pics!!

So for some of you today is the day, the boys in brown have made your day and in celebration of the G1 launch we want to see your G1 pics. Whether or not its unboxing, firing it up or placing it in your already existing G1 shrine, we want to see them.

So once you no longer have to look out the window for UPS, grab your digital camera or the phone you are ready to retire and take some shots of your brand new G1.

Yes we know, they are ALL going to look the same but the reality is we know you are excited for your very own unboxing pics, having already seen pictures here and here. This has all culminated into a great experience for our readers and we want to see that excitement come to a conclusion and doing so in full on picturesque grandeour!!

So we have set up a nice little place on the forums to post pictures in whatever form you would like, so what are you waiting for? Oh right, UPS still hasn’t come…STOP LOOKING OUT THE WINDOW!!

    WOW! got 1st one the 2nd is now due tomorrow….sweet it is…G1 with 3G @ 500+ kb download SF, CA … had the $19.95 data plan on my N82 just put in the SIM and after a little while ran at 3G…………..did not have to do anything…The 2nd one did not have the data plan so we will see what happens with that one tomorrow….stay tune…

    Got mines today..

    looks better in person then video. i had the sidekick lx
    and wow.. its smaller then a sidekick and the screen is way bigger..

    only problem i have now is trying to figure out where my telephone contacts are..

    anyone having the same problem? or do we have to manually add our contacts?

    UGH. Mine is scheduled to come tomorrow but the status hasn’t updated since the 17th. it still says it is ‘in transit’. i live about 20 mles from the center though where its at…..UGH

    The speaker is very loud and crisp Mr Moon. It does muffle alittle when layed down but still very good but the camera is a different story……blah. Have been on 4bars worth of 3G all night and day. Very fast data speeds. Well done Tmobile & HTC. A worthy handset. A little getting used to on the keyboard also but not that bad.

    UPDATE!! If you try to log in and can’t (like me ALL day yesterday), go to a t-mobile store and get your sim card replaced.

    I LOVE THIS PHONE!

    Guys the real question is how is the battery life?! im really concerned about that o and the AIM? heard some ‘not so hot’ reports about that either.

    The battery life is a little short, but AIM is just fine I had no problems with it

    Battery lasted me about 9 hours yesterday before it went to 24% it turns yellow indicater.
    So i would have gotten more till it turns red
    but i put it on charge after that.
    I was running non stop just about.
    While trying just about every app available.
    Hope this helps.

    Oh and I DID figure out why camera was slow.
    Its not bad after all, I was not using it correct of course and spoke too soon. Like a dummy I was not letting it autofocus first. Just an FYI…

    T-mobile really needs to use FedEx…..they work on weekends…having these sit DAYS is very poor customer focus service…looks like tomorrow, if UPS follows their normal pattern for local delivery of ONE day in and the next day out (as the truck has left for the day, I always hear when I call)….sat in Oakland 9 hours before being sent to SF, if it had been sent before the trucks go out for the day it would be on the today truck, maybe these are “special” and fall outside the normal pattern – yep they are to me………we will have to wait and see if it does go out sometime today or is being held until tomorrow……….due date is 10/21/08 yet is not out yet…

    I saw some pictures that noah took on phonedog and they looked real good.
    Also he showed that you can zoom in then crop it
    SO same thing as zoom in the begining
    Im sure someone will come up with an app to mess with the pictures soon.

    Any idea if the phone will be able to synch with the t-mobile contacts on the t-mobile site? I know it grabs the google contacts, but all my phone numbers are on t-mobiles site, and only some of them are on my sim chip.

    My Shadow is far and away the worst phone I have ever had, I would even say it is the worst piece of technology I have ever owned as well. I blame most of that on the buggy as hell WM.
