With an explosion of attention, the G1 took over the blogosphere this Tuesday. A mere 4 days later, T-Mobile has sold out of their pre-sale stock of the G1. Sources are telling us that T-Mobile planned on offering 60,000 pre-sale devices, but actual numbers may differ. Our forums are hopping with reports of errors when trying to get in on the G1 pre-sale, in addition to T-Mobile Customer Service informing customers that the pre-sale stock is sold out. For now folks, your going to have to wait to get your hands on this Android beauty until it is released on the 22nd. Update: Some users are reporting that they are able to purchase the G1 via MyT-Mobile.com, however we’re still experiencing the same problems as before, so don’t get your hopes up. Before you give up all hope, head over to MyT-Mobile.com and see if you are able to register or not.

You will not be able to exchange the phone in stores. Phones purchased over the web cannot be returned or exchanged in store. If you preordered and want the white you have to send the preorder phone back and come in to the store to buy one.

I see that SlingMedia will build a mobile client for the G1 next year, yeah, real live TV on the G1 is on the way. Now all you need on the G1 ia a front camera, A2DP{bluetooth stereo}, video capture, TV OUT. I believe all these features will be on the G2, coming next summer 2009….!

Yea, I plan on using the case that it comes with two. This damn thing was already $200 and th economy, gas, water doubling etc…is a MF so I am not eve trippin off of a “special” case right now. I am just gone rock with what it comes with for now. I aint even trippin on the G2, G3, G4, G5 …etc. I am excited about the G1 right now. Of course there will be improvements but I will deal with those when they hit the surface. As for right now, I am focused ont he G1 and the updates and upcoming apps for it.
Honestly, I am anxious to see which programs will be free and which ones will costs entirely too much!

yea you gotta flash the rom its a nbh file i got from xda. but it doesn’t include windows live tzones or tmobile enhancements you have to add them yourself which you can get from a skydrive on windows live.
