I played with this phone yesterday. The screen resolution looks amazing. I’m a little disappointed in the GPS though. I stood outside for almost 7 minutes without it ever loading. It just kept saying loading. Once it got to 96% it just hang. I know if I were on a trip the GPS on the SE will not be handy. My only hope is that it takes a long time the first time loading and after that is smooth sailing.

I would get it but Android is coming and I cannot wait sorry SE. to anyone that doesn’t want a smartphone this is the phone for you.

So ive played with the phone and have to say its pretty slick. I have never used a sony ericson before and from just looking at there previous phones was not a fan, but am now. Very good UI. Its not cluttered but extensive and its pretty user friendly…in my opinion.

I saw the specs that were listed and the phone is actually a quad band phone.

those testing units had tethering problem, and probably will be fixed on commercial release

hate to be the bearer of bad news but tethering is NOT supported on this device. :(
