I work for tmobile and I can tell you that the motorola ROKR that we currently sell does already have the song ID app on it. It works very well, I've yet to find a song it can't ID.

As far as the dream presale goes. Being a rep myself I can tell you we never learn anything until like 3 weeks before launch at the earliest. Sometimes it "day of" that we get the official word. So anyone calling customer care about the dream is only getting the opinion of the rep they talk to (some of which have never even heard of it).so take anything you're told by a rep with a grain of salt. I'm personally stoked and can't wait for it in the employee upgrade program.

Just because they requested photos to be confidential till November 10 doesn't mean that it won't be released till Nov 10. They most likely want to keep what the device looks like a secret till they start selling it. If the Dream will look like what we've been seeing then they probably are just doing it for hype or speculation.

Regardless the device can come out before its photos confidentiality expire. Its happen before with other phones.

The clearance is great news! Let's not place too much hope/doubt on the "label location specs". We have to remember that Htc requested internal, external etc. confidentiality on the device. It would be crazy to request confidentality and then put an image to go along with any public information. This picture only shows where they will put labels. Proof? Where is the qwerty keyboard located? Where did you see the camera located at? I like all of you are salivating at any and all dream info, I really wish this was a final image but it doesn't make sense.

That is not an HTC phone. It is an obvious fake. Sorry the buttons make it look like a playschool toy. Those are the biggest buttons I've ever seen. I rather have more functionality than just a touchscreen. I am getting really tired of my iPhone and can't wait for the real dream. It is so thin I don't know where the battery would go and it looks like it would break in your pocket. I'm sorry I just seen this illustration too many times. I want a real phone.

Is it just me or does the screen on this device look to have an entirely different footprint than the famous YouTube "Dream"

Makes me think that was not the final production G1/Dream at all, or is another Android phone coming out in the future. The screen on this FCC cutaway looks like it takes up less of the total surface area of the phone...
