AHH why are you yelling at me?!

K, see that S key on your keyboard. Now look to the left, at the A key. Now...do it again...and see that button to the left of the A key...press it! (Unless you have been holding down shift this whole time, in which case you should have a well-deserved sore pinky)

I THINK THAT AS FOR AS MY DAILY TALK TIME TO NON T MOBILE USERS, I WOULD BE HELPED, AND SO WOULD ALOT OF OTHER PEOPLE. MOBILE TO MOBILE TALKING WOULD BE INCREASED GENERALLY IF THEIR WAS A MERGER. HOWEVER T MOBILE HAS TO FULLY OUTLINE WHAT IT WOULD DO B4 THE MERGER TAKES PLACE, BECAUSE IN THE PAST ITS CLEAR THEY HAVEN'T FULLY THOUGHT THINGS THROUGH. AS FAR AS THE PHONES GO, ONCE THEY HAVE SETTLED THEY CAN CREATE PHONES THAT CAN APPEAL TO THE MASSES THAT ARE UNIQUE AND AFFORDABLE BECAUSE THEY WILL DOMINATE.

I just think its a bad idea for T-Mobile to even acquire Sprint. T-Mobile is a great mobile company, all they have to do is gain more customers (steals Sprints), get a wider selection of pones, and somehow get more coverage. Hotspot@HOME is an excellent way to make up for lack of coverage @HOME but they will have to expand coverage where they don't have for people who don't be @HOME.

DT should just focus on T-Mobile rather then trying to acquire a company that is the weakest of the wireless companies.

Yeah, operating two separate brands has really proven to be a killer strategy... For driving a company into the toilet! Are you kidding? Are you an ex sprint exec? Come onb guys, this is why Sprint is so bad off right now. No way can DT build two seperate wireless businesses in the US. Hell, I don't know if they could pull it off with it being just one. They would have to kill both these brands (sprint and nextel) in realitive short time and sell any spectrum that didn't fit the bill. It just seems a shame to dimantle one of the better data networks in the country to swap in gsm. But Sprint got itself where it is today and that maybe exactly what makes the most sense for this company now.

Alocholicaust there's nothing unethical about it my idea. It will almost kill Sprint but it would accomplish its tasks and in business thats whats it all about.

Your idea for them operating the two companies separately I think is the only way a merger like this will work. Trying to integrate the two will be fatal for T-Mobile.

I hope T-Mobile only buys spectrum from them rather than actually aquiring them.

buying customers out of a competitors contract obligations sounds a little unethical to me. this merger would be tough on tmob as far as maintenance and expansion. perhaps the best idea would be not a merger, but dt just buying out sprint and operating two seperate marques. market sprint as your high-end multimedia, corporate powerhouse, and t-mobile your low-cost basic phone value brand.

Spectrum isn't the only thing DT/TM should be looking at. The boat anchor of the iDEN network is part of why Sprint is where they are now. Bad idea.

Please let this be true!!!! I would be excited just for coverage sake. I'm a very happy tmo customer, BUT my coverage around the area I'm in the most sucks, and sprint's is amazing in the area I'm in. This would be exciting if it actually happens.
