do you know if this only works at a t-mobile corp stores? cuz last time they did this i refered about 5 people and they went to a authorized dealer and that referral wouldnt apply. so that sucked. i hope its not the same way again. because most authorized dealers have better pricing on phones than t-mobile corp stores do

I logged in to my account and tried to see how it works, here is the scoop as of today:
You can get only $25.00 per referral up to 4 times a month, now this is available only at T-Mobile corporate stores, here is the fine print:
Referral credits are available only to qualified T-Mobile postpaid and FlexPay referring customers who are in good standing at the time the credit is requested and applied. The referred customer must activate a qualifying T-Mobile voice/data postpaid or FlexPay rate plan at a T-Mobile owned and operated store, and present this card at the time of activation. Referral credits will be applied to the referring customer's account only after the referred customer has been an active T-Mobile postpaid or FlexPay customer in good standing for 45 days. The credit may take up to two billing cycles to appear on the referring customer's bill. KidConnect, Huddle Up, and Prepaid plans do not qualify for a referral credit. Maximum 4 referrals ($100 credit) per month per customer. Referral credits are not redeemable for cash or other value. By submitting this referral card, both the referring and the referred customers consent to allowing a T-Mobile Representative to access their accounts to process and apply the credit. T-Mobile and the magenta color are federally registered trademarks of Deutsche Telekom AG. stick together is a federally registered trademark of T-Mobile USA, Inc. © 2008 T-Mobile USA, Inc

It means that if you refer someone who signs up for a post-paid contract, T-mobile will take 50 dollars off of your next bill
